This video was created for one of my multimedia classes as a joint project with an education class at Bradley. I was assigned to a group from the class who acted as my clients. I gave them some input, but they wrote the script and had most of the creative control. I shot and edited the entire video for them.
This was a music video for Justin Timberlake’s “Sexyback” that me and two other students created for our video production class at Bradley University.

For my photojournalism class, we needed to cover some sort of sporting event. I decided to photograph the ultramarathon runners at the yearly race at McNaughton Park in Pekin, Illinois. The athleticism of these people is unbelievable… There’s a 50-mile race, 100-mile race, and 150-mile race. The camaraderie between all of the runners and spectators was something I’ve never seen before at a sporting event. Everyone was rooting for everyone else. It was a really neat experience.

I’m in the process of tweaking this new portfolio site. This is my first time using WordPress, and my first time really making a portfolio, so please be patient. :)
This was my first foray into Flash, and I still think it turned out pretty well. We had to create a website based around a central idea and targeted to a certain audience, and I chose to create a site about dreaming for kids. The animations and navigation menu layout took me insane amounts of time, as I was teaching myself how to do it as I went along.

This was a project that took up a huge part of the semester in my advanced Flash class. It was a group project with two other multimedia students to create a game for kids. I did most of the drawing and coding for the game. Unfortunately, one of my group members never finished one of his minigames in it and didn’t polish another, but the rest of it turned out nicely. I’m currently working on a version of the game for which I’m redoing all of the pages my group members didn’t fully complete.

This was a pong game created in Flash Lite 1.1 for mobile phones. Unfortunately, Flash doesn’t have a mobile Flash player for its functionality to be fully appreciated, but here is a screenshot.
Buy Abstract Art Online was a website designed and partially created for Devon D’Kline. The site doesn’t have full functionality yet, but was my first big site design created entirely with CSS.

Our advanced multimedia authoring class created a new website for the Bradley University multimedia program. I was on the media team, and contributed to planning, photographing, and prepping all of the header images, as well as all of the student examples under the courses section.
I’ll have decent movie files up instead of youtube videos for these soon.
This ten-second animation was my first ever experience with 3-D animating. I did the design, animation, and omg, the gasping voice too!

The grand saga of Carl, done in 15 frames-per-second stop motion animation.
Follow Carl through his life’s most personal moments- his humiliation (in FLASHBACK form! ooo), redemption, and slightly oedipal finale.
This was done as a group project for an animation class at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. None of us had ever done any stop motion animation before.
